Tourmalinated Quartz in 14K Yellow Gold Pendant

This Tourmalinated Quartz in a Hand-Made 14K Yellow Gold Pendant is as unique as it gets. Tourmalinated quartz occurs when tourmaline crystals form inside a much larger quartz crystal as an inclusion. This particular piece measures 1-7/8" x 5/8", weighs 31carats, and has some common natural openings to the outside of the stone plus a lot of smaller tourmaline crystals around the largest in the center. The stone is set in a hand-made frame of 14K yellow gold with a decorative topper and the pendant is on a 7-strand dark green colored nylon coated steel cable necklace with a 14K yellow gold bayonet clasp.
